Deborah Getta, FMP, SFP

Founded in 1989 by Deborah Getta, Design Resources, LLC is an award-winning DBE, BEP, WBE, and WOSB certified Women-Owned business, an innovative strategic sourcing procurement service. We collaborate as a team member with large corporations/prime contractors in the government sector to help provide the very best.

Having a unique, multi-disciplinary, service-oriented approach honed from over thirty years in many facets of the design industry, which included premium residential, hospitality, interior styling for retail spaces, set designs and commercial facilities, by providing the highest quality fabrics, trims, wallpaper, flooring, and accessories with sustainability in mind by using LEED-certified products, for procurement needs, and several decades as a master artisan of fine interior custom products, specializing in window treatments.

Deborah started her professional career after receiving a degree in Interior Design. She subsequently worked for a commercial design firm, headed up an architectural design department working on medical facilities, and worked as a facilities manager handling design, procurement of FF&E for facilities worldwide. Later transitioning into soft furnishing fabrication, interior styling for retail spaces, and
doing set design; this is where her passion for interior design and creating bespoke soft furnishings flourished.

Over the years, Deborah continued her education by receiving a certification as a facility manager professional and sustainability manager professional, enrolled in Cornell’s Women’s Entrepreneurship’ class and Turner’s Construction Management Program. I believe in the power of education, it not only keeps you moving forward, but it’s another attribute that I can provide to my clients’ needs and be a knowledgeable team member.
